“I believe that each of us should be thoughtful, proactive, and rigorous about our own identity. Focusing on and answering a few key questions will allow you to shape your identity and thus your life to better meet the expectations you have of yourself.”

- Reid Hoffman, Co-founder LinkedIn

elevate brand visibility

attract your clients

increase revenue.

Creating images for you and about you isn’t just about picking up the camera and beginning to photograph.

No, no, no! We strategize first, photograph second. I love to talk to people about their businesses and where they are going next.

I’ll talk to you about goals, aspirations and deepest desires! Why? So that I know what lights you up. Uh, making a connection with you is kinda the point, especially if you’re looking for authentic photos of yourself or you + your team. I connect with you and you connect with your people. Make sense?

And we’ll definitely have some fun, but there are some boundaries. Say what? Is this a therapy session? Of course not! The boundaries I’m talking about have to do with combining spontaneity + creativity with a well thought out plan. I don’t want you to walk away with a set of pretty pictures.

I want you to walk away with beautiful photos that are purpose-driven — photographs that will empower you and catapult (doesn’t the sound of this word make you feel like you’re going to launch, leap to the next level of success?!) your business. You are on a mission my friend. And I’m your co-creator on the launchpad to more visibility, empowerment & income.

Relevant photos accompanied by your branding message are the quintessential combo. Showing up and showing off what is uniquely you (btw you are already unique), and what you do uniquely will get the people to your door so that you can do your thing. Whatever that thing is … head widget maker, jewellery designer, real estate agent, race care driver, baker, coach, therapist or musician (aka rockstar).

Do you think I really need personal branding? What’s the point of personal branding anyway? I’m my brand? ... Can you tell me more about it?

I think everyone really does need personal branding photos and a clear picture of how they present themselves to the clients and audiences that they want to attract.

Do brands hit the mark when they are speaking to you? Do you feel invisible? Do you feel heard? What’s your experience of them?

I think that connectedness & shared values is one of the most important things you can share with your audience. You know that you won’t buy from businesses if you don’t perceive them to be speaking to you in some way. They have to find a way to put themselves in your shoes.

The same is true for your business.

Why is there so much hype about PB?

Personal branding has been hyped to the point that some people say you are your brand. And sometimes we would like to avoid the hype and convince ourselves that we really don’t need something especially if it’s being talked about so much.

Before the pandemic personal branding was a thing. And during and after the pandemic  … it became an even bigger thing. We just couldn’t see our people face to face. Say what?! That really threw us all for a major loop didn’t it. So if we can’t meet our clients face to face, now what? How am I going to keep my business chugging along, how does anyone outside of my immediate circle know I exist? You had to and now you need to find a way to show your face. And not just on your about page.

Visibility became vital more than ever before …

Visibility is vital more than ever.

The headshot on it’s own is a bit meh don’t you think?  It’s one-dimensional. It’s depthless. It doesn’t tell your full story. Variety is the spice of life. Cheesy cliche I know, but as humans we love variety!

A variety of photos equals engagement. You show what’s on offer, you show distinct and diverse parts of your personality. You show your business process! A window into you and your business wins the day every time.

To be known to your people means connection. Connection, awareness and visibility invites them to take action because they feel as though they know something about you, they like what you stand for and therefore trust you enough to buy your service and products.
